New client referral discount

  1. As an existing client of Great Southern Osteopathy (GSO), if you refer a new client to Great Southern Osteopathy whom states your name as their referral source when making an initial consultation, you will be entitled to a single discount of $15.

  2. Standard Subsequent Consultation fee is $95 (correct as of 09/03/2020). After application of $15 discount, one-time Subsequent Consultation fee will be $80. All prices are in AUD.

  3. This offer is applied once per new client referral. There is no time limit on the application of the discount.

  4. Discount will automatically be applied to your account after the new referred client has completed their Initial Consultation at GSO.

  5. Discount can only be applied to a future full-fee standard subsequent consultation fee, and is applied prior to any private health rebates. No refund for previous consultations will be provided.

  6. Discounts will be be applied to Medicare related appointments (CDMP) or otherwise discounted appointment fees.

  7. The discount is only available to the referring pre-existing client of GSO. The discount cannot be used by the new client.

  8. Referral discount is not valid in the instance of medical and healthcare practitioners (ie GP’s, Exercise Physiologists, Massage Therapists) referring new clients. This offer is only available to private clients of GSO. Exceptions to this term are at the digression of the director of GSO, Dr Whitney Lewis.

  9. Payments accepted include EFTPOS, direct bank transfer and cash. Private health insurance rebates can be claimed using HICAP’s at the time of your consultation if applicable.

  10. Informed consent must be gained from any client prior to osteopathic treatment. If informed consent is not gained, no osteopathic treatment will commence.

  11. Typical osteopathic consultation at GSO will comprise of discussion of the presenting complaint/ailment between the client and practitioner, physical examination, explanation of working diagnosis and informed consent, and osteopathic treatment such as soft tissue massage/releases, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), assisted stretching, Myofascial Release and joint manipulation (HVLA).

  12. Osteopathic treatment is not guaranteed in a consult. Following discussion of a presenting complaint by the client, clinical reasoning will be used to determine if osteopathic treatment is appropriate. If osteopathic treatment is not appropriate to the presentation, referral to another medical professional may be advised. Consultation fees at GSO still apply regardless of whether osteopathic treatment is used.
